I’ve always enjoyed television, but it wasn’t until recent years that I really had enough money to consider purchasing a new set. I’ve held off on getting a brand new TV because I really didn’t feel educated about my options. Did I want a plasma TV? LED? Did I want 3D features or a TV that was internet-ready?
The more I looked into it, the more I became confused about what sort of TV I wanted. Television certainly didn’t use to feel so complicated. You bought a set, hooked it up, and sat and watched it. Nowadays TVs are capable of all sorts of things. On top of that, I had a good friend who was adamant in his belief that projectors are far superior to television sets, and he would waste no opportunity to tell me this whenever he could. I felt overwhelmed with all of the options available.
High-end TVs and projectors can cost quite a lot of money, and I really didn’t want to end up with buyer’s remorse. I decided to start this website so I could have a place to put down all of my thoughts on the research I’d been doing. Eventually I did make my decision, and I’ve been happy with what I chose. I decided to keep this site going and talk about other technological topics that I have a keen interest in. I hope visitors to my site can gain a little more knowledge about whether a TV or a projector would be right for them.
